LS-8a : OY-RBX / AB for sale (sold!)

I've decided to change class and alas have to sell my LS 8.

Below you will find recent and up to date pictures of my glider including the full details.

The stats: LS-8a. Serial No. 8176. Since it is a LS-8a it is also fully prepared for 18m but I've never gotten around to buy the actual tips.  DG can deliver the tips (no modification necessary).
  • Single owned since factory delivery feb. 1998. To date (June 2006) flown 950 hours, 60.000km, 260 starts.
  • Never damaged or had hard landings.
  • Fully instrumented for competion with latest upgrades etc. Everything is competition ready (see above pictures).
  • Instrument panel is the "slim" version allowing for large pilots (I'm 193cm ~ 6' 2" and 90kg).
  • Extra battery compartment in tailfin.
  • 3.8 liter water tank in tail.

Care and condition of glider:  The trailer is a no-step zone. Besides regular polishing and care the glider and trailer is every year given a winter overhaul by a professional workshop here in Denmark, DanGlide Aps.  All service and documentation is up to date. No upcomming service or modifications expected or known. The glider is plain unblemished white (some faint yellowing on underside around the outer water outlets due to production method in factory).  No paintings or ab-factory designs.

Use of glider: AB has partaken in all danish nationals since 1998 (2x1st, 3x2nd), the 1999 WGC in Bayreuth (28th), the 2000 EGC (19th) in Lüsse, the WGC 2003 (16th) in Leszno, the EGC 2005 in Nitra (11th) and the WGC 2006 in Eskilstuna (forget it).

Station of glider: It has all years been stationed derigged in the cobra trailer in a dry hangar at our club in western Jutland, Denmark. Jaxida covers (included) primarily used for protecting glider on grid prior to take off.
